More of a Korean essence
The smell is fermented, as to be expected, that doesn’t bother me. This acts more like an essence with a toner than just a toner, so you may want to layer a regular toner underneath. This is very hydrating and im excited to see how it helps my skin in winter (currently summer)The only downside is a non-recyclelable bottle.

Super hydrating and nourishing!
I have been purchasing this toner for over two years now. Nothing can compare. It’s so wonderful. It’s slightly thicker than water and instantly turns your skin soft, smooth and so very hydrated. So calming to the skin. Takes away any of that tight feeling you get after cleansing. I can’t live without it.

Disappoitingly small. The answer to the question of it’s size as 300ml is a massive lie and very misleading. Especially as there are other sellers here on Amazon, offering this same size of 150ml a little cheaper.My advice, get it from YesStyle.

Wrong size
I love this toner. My problem is , that i ordered and paid for 10 oz product and received 5 oz version. Buyer beware !UPDATE : After contacting the seller they reimbursed me and let me keep the product. Turns out the Amazon itself is fulfilling this on the behalf of the seller and they are the ones that messed up.

WOW! So Unique!
Keep in mind that I’ve applied this toner exactly three times but it’s impressive! It’s not like any toner I’ve ever used. It’s texture is on the thicker side, not watery. I immediately felt the soothing, moisturizing effect and was still feeling it overnight. I could almost imagine going without moisturizer. If I were twenty years younger, I probably could.In the future, if something unforeseen happens and I have a reaction, I’ll update my comments.

Holy Grail
I have dry skin and this toner has been a holy grail product for me. It goes on a little oily and hydrates so well, my skin has been loving it! I also have noticed that when I use it it minimizes my pores and blurs my skin making everything look just a little nicer without makeup. If you have oily skin I would say avoid it but for all of my dry skin girlies, you have to try this stuff!

Oh my god. Holy. Grail.
To preface, I have dry skin; My skin problem is hormonal acne and scarring. Nothing out of control, but just bad enough that I’ve had trial and error with a bunch of products through the years.This toner…… is actually amazing. The smell isn’t my favorite, but my skin feels so smooth after I started using it. Even when I switch it out for my other toners, I feel like my skin problems start to come back.I almost didn’t wanna review this because I’m scared it will sell out, Lol. If you’re on the fence about this toner, my advice for you is that you’re in the right place here. Try a rice toner. Doesn’t have to be this one, but go for it and try one. Even a diy rice toner helps. This stuff is amazing

This toner/essence packs a wallop of moisturizing, skin soothing deliciousness. The viscosity is a clear and silky with some body to it. It’s not a watery toner or essence. Alone, I notice the hydration and glow. If I really want to give my skin the BOOM BOOM POW! I pair it with Dr. Ceracule Vegan Kombucha Tea Essence to pull out the luminous and luxurious skin that is there but just needs some hydration and a bit of help absorbing all the delicious and a soothing actives. Without the aid of Haru Haru or Dr Ceracule, all the money I would spend on skincare and specific a actives, they just sit on top of my skin. Unabsorbed. Haru Haru alone will help open the door for the next steps in your routine.I have been wanting to try the moisturizer and serums, and ampoule. Oh and the Bamboo Mist…refreshing, great to set and refresh make-up. I don’t ever purchase mists, but this will be a standard in my routine. Great company and incredible effective products.

Much better, healthier, affordable option than SK**
I am a cosmetic snob and I’ve used SK** pitera essence in my late 20’s. I loved how the fermented rice in the product worked so well with my skin, but obviously didn’t love the price of it. Way too expensive! After finishing a whole bottle, I felt it worked but I really wanted a better option ingredient wise and the price was just insane. Also thinking some of their ingredients wouldn’t work well with my sensitive skin in the long term use, I stopped using SK**. Yes, I am the crazy lady who goes through all the ingredients list to make sure I know what I put on my skin.So when HaruHaru came out with this Black Rice line, I was thrilled! Even though it is very similar essence like toner as SK**, derived from fermented rice, I find Haruharu’s ingredients are much healthier option and obviously you just cannot beat the price! Also, the smell, I really couldn’t stand the weird smell of SK**, but haruharu wonder toner carries light scent of wonderful natural lavender just like their black rice oil. It’s subtle, and not too overpowering, just enough to make me feel pampered and relaxed. It’s not like crazy dizzy strong fake lavender-like fragrance.This is my third purchase in one month to give as gifts to my dear friends because it is that good!! I bought the other two in Korea, and thank you Amazon for carrying it now!The bottle is huge with generous amount of product, I use it as a toner, essence, and sometimes, i put plenty of the toner on cotton pads and leave it on for 5-10mins to use it as face soothing mask when I my skin needs mini spa time.From product to packaging, this toner is very luxurious treat for my skin and far better option than SK**. Who would not love such a well-made product that is reasonably priced?!

Im a subscription box junkie so I actually discovered this product via Ipsy in January… I treated that little 1oz trial sample like gold-until I discovered this 10oz bottle here on Amazon. Please note this isn’t really a “toner” the way Americans think of toner. This is more like a thin hydrating serum.This stuff drastically improved my skin (I’m 33 with oily/combo sensitive skin) it plumped up my fine lines and helps my skin stay hydrated, it’s helped even out my tone & is my new best friend for no-makeup make-up.My teenager who struggles with SUPER DRY skin/Eczema keep trying to steal my bottle so I had to buy a second for them… happily I might add. Their skin is glowing like I’ve never seen it! It’s clear, smooth & calm.My PT, Massage therapist & best friend(s) are all hooked on this product now too! The smell is light, but fades instantly. At $40ish for a 10oz bottle theres enough for a family of 4 to all but bathe in this x2 daily for mooonnnttthhhhsss.Buyer beware though, a little goes a long way & the product expires 6mo after opening so get the smaller bottle if you aren’t sure about the product to limit any potential waste!

NOT 300ML! IT’S 150!
This is my first time using this product. Outside of the issue below, so far so good – it feels a bit lotion-y and has a nice finish. If I order again, I don’t think I will go through Amazon because the description definitely says 300 and my bottle definitely says 150!! This is a real issue yall!(FYI this is a review from the USA, I think some other reviews had the same issue but they were from UK.)

Overall a good product, I’m in love with the scent!
This stuff smells AMAZING. It has a light, earthy, refreshing scent that is reminiscent of a spring morning walking through a temperate rainforest. I have a minor complaint, though, I feel as though it could be thinner so it absorbs a little quicker and doesn’t leave a sticky film behind. I find that I have to add this to a very wet skin base and only use the tiniest amount in order to avoid that hyaluronic acid stickiness that you often get with products that heavily rely on HA. This is overall not unique to this product and it is very soothing, moisturizing, and feels great on the skin. Did I mention it smells amazing? Honestly I want candles with this scent, it’s just absolutely lovely!

Makes my skin tight and smooth.
I will never buy another hydrating toner. Great size for the price, perfect hydration for my dry skin and goes great under the several of my moisturizers I’ve tried. Scent is a little strong so I was worried about my skin sensitivity but it goes away very quickly and doesn’t feel like anything but water gel as it goes on!

I love this product. It really helps the dry patchy areas on my face get the hydration they need. It does have a stronger smell when you first start using it, but the more I use it the less I notice it’s scent. I would definitely recommend this product.

Perfect toner
I am in love with this toner!!! It is value for money. This bottle could last for 4 months I believe. It is perfect for my sensitive skin, and it’s light and has subtle scent. I paired this up with the face moisturizer and it doesn’t make my skin look oily. It seeps right in!Definitely worth a buy and I’m gonna buy it again once this one finishes.

Literally the best toner I have ever used!! I use it morning and night. It is calming and hydrating. I have very sensitive skin that gets red and blotchy easily. I don’t have acne (but am acne prone) just super sensitive skin. This is very soothing and gives a subtle look and feeling. Will continue to rebuy 🙂 And shipping was fast due to Amazon prime, the bottle came in tact perfectly. I have been using it for 2 weeks now and estimating this bottle to last about 2 months. Love it!!

Now… I’ve been experimenting with different toners. I did get a small black rice toner from Ipsy that I liked! So I thought I’d try this brand. It actually HELPS my skin. Rice is proven to help with acne- yes I see a change! I struggle with oily-prone skin that AS WELL gets dry as heck/flakey. I use this twice daily, once in the mornings and once at night.

I have been using this for a couple of weeks, day and night. It’s good, didn’t make me break out. But I also don’t see any difference so far. Time will tell, hence the 3 stars. I will update my review after I’ve finished the bottle. It has a scent but not too strong and goes away fast.

Using this every day has really improved my skins texture. I have combination skin and this gets rid of dry patches from using retin a. I put it on with reusable cotton rounds. I’ll definitely be repurching:)

Great value and works amazing
I know you cant always trust skincare from Amazon, but this is an exception. This is not your traditional serum – it really functions as a sort of moisturizer, and is not drying at all. I have been using this for months and have seen a great improvement in my skin. The bottle comes with a ton of product and I know will last me a long time. Its not scented, yet it smells great. The bottle is also pretty, and looks really good on my skincare shelf. This can be used daily, or less. Overall this product is great and I’m really glad I gave it a try!

Gentle, Effective, Feels High-End
This hyaluronic toner is FABULOUS. I’ve always struggled with consistently blocked pours due to hyperkeratinization. After using fairly intense chemical exfoliants for about a year, I read about this black rice one that was gentle enough to be used daily. My skin is quite sensitive so I was excited to try it. I’m on my second bottle now and I tell everyone about this stuff! The smaller bottle lasted me almost 4 months. I ordered the larger oz this time. I love how it smells, it clearly moisturizes instead of stripping your face (so your moisture barrier will thank you), I can feel a noticable different in the texture of my skin, and the consistency of the toner is slightly heavier than water–almost like it has an oil base? I don’t know how to explain it but it FEELS and smells high-end. It’s glorious. Highly recommend!

Great Product with Instant Results
Heard great things about this toner and had to try it out. Can definitely confirm that it was worth the its cost. Have been using it consistently for a week and it has totally brightened my skin, helped with a lot of scarring (prior cystic acne), and overall has evened out any discoloration. Doesn’t provide a lot of moisturizing considering it’s not a moisturizer, but it has a very light-wear watery consistency and softens the skin. It has a very slight floral smell that doesn’t linger which should be perfect for those with sensitive skin. Had my parents also try this product, both seeing results, and my mother absolutely loves it!

Holy Grail!!!!
I’m obsessed with this toner!!!! Usually when I buy any skincare products I have a tendency to stick to what I like and no venture out. I mainly used the soon Jung face toner. But I wanted to switch up my products and my routine and that’s when I stumbled upon the beauty!!! I have oily combo skin that clogs easily but this toner hydrates my skin with out me breaking out! It leaves such a beautiful glow and it’s not heavy at all nor does it sting when you apply it!! This is definitely my new go to!

Helped my hormonal acne
Love this so much!!! I got it as a sample in my Ipsy bag and it has been wonderful so I’m here for the full size! I have been dealing with sudden, stubborn hormonal acne for the last several years after pregnancy and this has magically and drastically cleared my skin for the first time. It is very mild and gentle and leaves my skin feeling so clean. Has a nice cooling effect going on. I use very generously morning and night with a cotton ball and even after makeup removal and cleansing it still always removes some dirt/oil on the cotton ball. The bottle is very large too which is great, plus it’s pretty too! Been using about a month and effect has lasted so far. Very happy!!

I have been using Korean based beauty products for well over 10 years now because they’re just made…better. A friend from work actually introduced me to this toner, and I can say that (along with another toner) it has left my skin softer. I have acne prone skin and am always very conscious about how it’ll with products. However, although this doesn’t treat your acne, it leaves the skin hydrated and even. I’ve noticed that when I use double-toning, my skin is less oily I’m certain areas and dry in others. It feels more even now which is amazing for me. I use it day and night.

This lasts ages. It is a bit thicker than a normal toner, so you can put a few drops onto your hand and apply directly to your face, which is a lot less wasteful than applying with a cotton cleansing pad.
